About The Munster Motorhome Club.

The Munster Motorhome Club was founded in 2004 to cater for the needs of like minded people in the Munster region of Ireland. Our founder has been motor caravanning since 1972, when motor caravanning was in its infancy in Ireland. The needs of motorcaravanners from the Munster region weren't catered for, so the Munster Motorhome Club was born in 2004. The club has been highly successful in promoting the use of motorhomes in Ireland, and has encouraged friendship amongst thousands of people of similar persuasion. It also supported the tourist industry, and encouraged motorhome owners from other countries to visit Ireland.

We do not restrict visitors who wish to attend our get-togethers, all we ask is that they advise the secretary of their intention to attend an event. Most of our venues are on caravan parks with electric hook up, toilets and showers. All our events are posted on the web site so please make contact if you wish to attend a venue. Our AGM weekend is restricted to club members.

Our season starts at New Year and continues right through the year with get-togethers nearly every other weekend in high season, see our list for this year. One of our aims is that a member hasn't to travel too far to attend a get-together after a hard weeks work. Most of oyr get-togethers are held in the Munster region. If you have never rallied with us before, or for that matter, never rallied at all, why not come along to one and see for yourself what a marvellous time we have. Many long friendships have been made by our members over the years.

We have many picturesque areas to visit in Munster which is comprised of some of the most beautiful counties in Ireland. Clare with its Cliffs of Moher, Limerick and the picturesque village of Adare, Tipperary and the Rock of Cashel, Waterford, famous the world over for its Waterford Crystal, Cork with its rugged coastline and the Beara Peninsula and the jewel in the Munster crown, Kerry and its world famous “Ring of Kerry”.

The Munster region has an abundance of caravan parks, in some beautiful settings and after your stay with us you can sample some of them.

We do not encourage wild camping and for your safety would urge you to stay in a caravan park. Aires de Services are very limited in Ireland with only one in County Limerick at Askeaton, two in Co. Cork (one in Cobh close to train station and one in Midleton town car park) one at Goosey Island Sneem Co Kerry, and 3 in Northern Ireland at Broughshane, Carricfergus & Whitehead.
